|1. Can anyone join the William Floyd Alumni Association?
A: If you are a graduate of William Floyd High School, you are welcome to join the WFAA.
2. Does it cost anything to join?
A: No - there is no fee to be a member of the William Floyd Alumni Association.
3. What is the purpose of the WFAA?
A: The William Floyd Alumni Association seeks to provide a conduit through which alumni may direct their
charitable activities in support of their school community and its students.
4. Is the WFAA tax-exempt?
A: Yes, the William Floyd Alumni Association is a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization.
5. What types of activities does the WFAA participate in?
A: The William Floyd Alumni Association holds annually the “Distinguished Alumni” Awards dinner, the
“Outstanding Educators” Awards dinner, and the “Athletic Hall of Fame” luncheon and induction. We participate in
Homecoming and Graduation each year, and award several general scholarships and CTE scholarships annually.
Past endeavors have also included participating in Earth Day clean-ups, Adopt-a-Family, and several food drives.
