| former classmates in serving their school community as a means of appreciation for the opportunities that their experience as Floyd students has provided for them, and to contribute in furthering the success of the current students and the community. Several umbrella alumni groups/committees exist within the WFAA, including the Athletic Hall of Fame, Music Alumni, Distinguished Alumni Award, Outstanding Educators Award and Armed Forces Memorial. In June 2010, the association successfully achieved 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. |
